Memories!

So Kim was going through old stuff on the external hard-drive doing some cleaning and found this, it’s from our wedding stuff and one of my friends helped write it for us.  It brings back many happy memories about how our life together started!

 THE DAY BEFORE

Well it all starts the night before when Broadway and Kimmy where going to pick up their bestest friend in the world up from the air port Barrett Bogan. It was a dark and dreary night, full of lots of snow and wind.  The plane was supposed to land at 8:00 but it did not. Broadway was thinking that it would be easy but it wasn’t.  The plane didn’t land until 12:04 and they didn’t leave until 2:00AM due to baggage claim taking for dumb ever.  And we didn’t get home until 4:00…ish. This was not fun for Broadway because he needed to get an early start and he had arranged for Kimmy to work the next morning.  Broadway had been planning this for sometime but there was still a lot to do……

SO THE DAY BEGINS

As soon as Kimmy leaves work, she comes home to an empty house.  There was nothing in the living room; it was bare with just a table in the middle of the room.  She was thinking what the…  Then she sees a computer on the table and walks up to it ever so carefully and sees a sign that says play me so she pushes the space bar and there is a DVD of a letter being read to her.  It tells her to go to the first place that she and Broadway had begun to date… Pulpit Rock.   She also has a bag that she can’t open and warm clothing with one hour to get ready and at exactly two o’clock, a surprise chauffeur would show up.  So at exactly 2:00 there was a knock on the door.   So Kimmy runs to see who it is and a close and dear friend of theirs was at the door, Melody Catarisano.  So she tells Kim to finish up because time was important in this whole thing. They left for the first stop @ P Rock.  So they hike up to the top and find a locked box.  Once she finally figures out how to open it she finds a voice recorder telling her how much Broadway wished he was there but she needed to go to Fox Run gazebo.  There she finds a letter that tells her to go to the rooftop of a certain address downtown where she finds a treasure map the last stop, but first she gets to open the bag.  In it was a beautiful outfit that Broadway had picked out for her.  She follows the map on foot, which leads her to a small old-timey theater.  Once inside she is told by the chauffeur that she can go no farther.  Kimmy must enter alone.  She looks into the dark theater… nothing but candle light down the aisle.  So she walks down and on to the candle-lit stage.  Once center stage all the lights flood on and she finds out that she is surround by art.  The theater stage was transformed into an art gallery full of Broadway’s work.  And here he comes walking out from backstage.  They walk and they talk and Broadway is as nervous as can be.   They talk about art and everything but marriage.  Then he starts talking about Christmas and that he had gotten here something that was very special.  Aaaaaand queue the knee drop.  Kimmy says, “You’re crazy.”  Broadway says,”no you’re crazy.”  Then he asks her to, well… you know the rest :)
